About Ambrosia

Chef & Lori

Our History

Ashlar Manor was built by design as a banquet & event space by the Masonic Lodge of Victoria in 1994 and then acquired in 2002 by Mr Dominique Chapheau, a well-known restaurateur in Victoria who operated it as Ambrosia Catering & Event Centre. In November 2007 Steve and Lorinda Walker-Duncan took over the business and have been expanding on the solid foundation of good work and quality reputation built by former owners.

Steve and Lorinda came to Ambrosia from Simply Elegant Cuisine (SEC's Catering Service), a specialty catering company they co-owned, located on Centennial Square. "The time had come to grow and move into bigger and more productive space!" explains Steve.
